Anchorage Areas:
- Alpha, Bravo, Charlie — Primary anchorage points (outer harbor)
- Kutubdia Anchorage — Used for lighterage and overflow operations
- Karnaphuli River Berth Area — Limited to smaller vessels due to draft
Draft Limitations:
- Maximum permissible draft at outer anchorage: 10.0–10.5 meters (depending on tide)
- At berth (inner harbor): 8.5–9.0 meters average
Tidal Window:
- Tidal range: 3–5 meters
- Vessels should plan arrival based on HW tide for safe passage to berth
